Jason Weisberg - Executive Director for NY Xtreme

Jason Weisberg comes with great coaching experience. Weisberg enters his sixth season at NCAA Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019 as the assistant women’s coach. 

Prior to arriving at FDU, Weisberg spent 5 seasons on the women's side as an assistant coach at Iona College. He was also an assistant coach for the men’s program at Manhattan College and spent a few seasons at Division II Dominican College as a men’s assistant coach from 2002-2004 where he helped the team to the CACC Conference championship in 2002. Dominican College reached the CACC semifinals in 2003 and were conference champions again in 2004. Weisberg then moved to the Women's side as an assistant coach at Iona College

Weisberg is a member of the Region 1 ODP coaching staff and has been a head coach for the ENYYSA Olympic Development (ODP) Program since 2002 working with both the boys' and girls' programs. In 2015 Weisberg took the 1998 Girls ENY North team to the ODP Nationals in AZ as final four contenders.

He was a former director of coaching for Yorktown FC Jaguars, NY girls' premier soccer club for six years, preparing them to play collegiate soccer at the highest levels. He then moved on to coach with top-ranked Albertson SC on Long Island, where he coached their ECNL girls’ squads.

Weisberg recently spent the last year as the college coordinator for TSF Academy in NJ. Prior to that he spent the last seven years as an Associate Director of Coaching at Manhattan Soccer Club in NYC working to build the girls HS program. He has also coached teams in the Super Y League, and in 2008 helped them reach the National Finals in the Super G20's. He has coached the Women's Open Team for Hudson Valley in the Empire State Games from 2002-2008 as well as coaching with many youth clubs in the Westchester with the Manhattan SC Pride GU19 state cup championship run ending as USYSA Region I Semifinalists.   

Weisberg holds a USSF "A" license and an NSCAA Premier Diploma, which he completed in Curitiba, Brazil in May 2005, as it was the first U.S. coaching course ever given in Brazil. He was also part of another soccer first when he received the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma (DOC) in Oct. 2005. This is the first DOC course ever given in the United States. He has also been a talent scout at the US Soccer Market Training Centers in New York and New Jersey areas. 

Weisberg played collegiate soccer at Stony Brook University and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Pace University.
