Kelci Hegg is the current advisor and director of NYXFC’s student-athlete collegiate recruitment program. Kelci is also a member of the NYXFC coaching staff and is spearheading the 2018-19 supplemental camp and clinic offerings for the club. Kelci begins her 6th year as the Head Coach of the Concordia College (Bronxville, NY) Women’s Soccer Program during the 2018-19 season.
Kelci, a native of Charlotte, NC, was a member of the Vanderbilt University Women's Soccer team from 2002-05 where she led the team in goals and points during her senior season. Kelci helped lead her team to a 16-3-3 record and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2005. Following her senior year, she became an assistant coach for the Vanderbilt University ‘Commodores'’ Women's Soccer team during the 2006 season. She also was a staff coach at Tennessee United Soccer Club.
Upon moving to New York, Kelci continued her coaching career with The Greenwich Soccer Academy in Greenwich, CT and The Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY. While coaching, Kelci also played with the New York Magic, of the former W-League, where she was twice honored as 1st Team, “Defender of the Week”.
Kelci also coached the NY Rush Patriots, U-19 girls of NYCSL in Yonkers, NY, and was a staff coach for Quickstrike Patriots FC. She was also the Technical Director of NY Rush Patriots in 2016.
Kelci received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Criminology from Vanderbilt University in 2006, a Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology from Seton Hall University in 2012 and a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University (Irvine, CA) in 2018.
